Artist: Charles Lazarus

Composer Charles Lazarus is the top winner in the Instrumental category of the 7th Annual Great American Song Contest.

His song "Waves" was selected as First Place winner by the contest judges.

Trumpeter Charles Lazarus lives in Minneapolis where he is a member of
the Minnesota Orchestra.

He is an avid proponent of original music and recently released a solo CD of all original compositions entitled Solo
Settings.

He has performed his music at the Montreal and Ottawa International Jazz festivals, live on Radio Canada and on national television in Canada where his original music video "Java" won the Musique Plus Democlip of the year award.
