Artist: Mark Lightcap

It wasn't until his 40s that Mark really became serious about songwriting, but now he's making up for lost time! Not only was he the Country category winner of the Great American Song Contest 2001, he now has a song published and is a member of ASCAP. He writes all styles of music from country to Hip Hop, and says "studying the songwriting craft" has helped him greatly.
