Artist: Lisa Housman

Lisa's song "The Bakery" won the Contemporary Acoustic/Folk category in the Great American Song Contest 2000. Judges proclaimed her songwriting "brilliantly original" and compared her to Dar Williams, Bob Dylan, Ani Defranco and Christine Lavin, for her story-telling style and her concern with social issues. She plans to release her own CD, "Hungry for Company", soon.
